”In Ancient Chinese philosophy, yin and yang is ”In Ancient Chinese philosophy, yin and yang is a concept of dualism, describing how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.” . I’ve been trying to make sense of everything going on right now in my country, in my world, in my head, and in my soul. I’ve been trying to find harmony in the chaos of my mind and the racial tragedies, injustices that have impacted (time and time again) my world, Our world. And my mind kept ringing me back to the beautiful concept of the yinyang. . I’ve come to an understanding that I don’t understand everything, that I don’t understand very much at all. But, I can find truth and understanding by seeking, talking, opening the door to deeper more meaningful conversations with my friends, family, and others in the black community, and those of other communities as well. It saddens me that due to the power struggle happening right now the harmony We all seek is yet to be found, but I have hope in the glimpses I see of it taking route. People of all ethnicities and backgrounds standing side by side with our fellow black brothers and sisters in their fight, Our fight. . After all is said and done, after all the hurt, all the pain, all the anger, all the tears, all the strife I hope We can all come together in unity, as one voice; I hope harmony is the final outcome. . I stand with the black community and I look forward to the day (soon I hope) 🀞 We can all stand together on equal grounds, complementary of each other, in harmony together.
